Vietnam Hostels

Vietnam has evolved into the gem of South East Asia. Its new-found popularity amongst travellers from backpackers to middle-aged tour groups has resulted in a relaxed acceptance of tourists and an increase in quality accommodation.

Hostels in Vietnam are not as vast as in other countries in the region, but there are enough budget hotels and guesthouses spread across the country to fit within the budget even the thriftiest of Backpackers.

Hanoi is Vietnam’s capital city. It is a quaint city that captures Vietnam’s history which visitors can witness in the Old Quarter and while catching up to other bustling cities as development and traffic rises, it is still well balanced with tree lined boulevards, temples and beautiful lakes. Hanoi Backpackers Hostel is one of the few international standard hostels in the city.

The economic, industrial and cultural hub of Vietnam is Ho Chi Minh City. A highlight of Ho Chi Ming City is to simply wander the streets and markets taking in the full-gamut of sights, sounds and smells before settling down to a bowl of Pho (noodle soup). Other highlights include visits to the Reunification Palace and War Remnants Museum.

For an alternative to the hustle and bustle head to the coastal resort city of Nha Trang. A popular destination amongst Vietnamese for years, it’s fast becoming a popular destination for backpackers as the pristine beaches and great scuba diving makes it a great place to relax and revitalise.
